Group homes: Please note that you must complete a separate registration for each girl. We will schedule your entire group for the same time slot. We will contact you by phone or email no later than Wednesday, February 10th to confirm your appointment time. All appointments will be on Sunday, February 17th at designated times between 11:00am and 2:00pm. All will be served by scheduled appointment only. No one will be allowed into the event without a reservation. No one will be permitted into the event earlier than their appointed time. **Please feel free to forward this invitation to group homes, CASA's, high school counselors, caseworkers, kinship care navigators, foster parents, grandparents raising grandchildren, or relatives and fictive kin providing sole care of teen girls who may be eligible to take part in such a fun and special day! (Please note that non-relative foster teens who are in their pre-adoptive or adoptive home do not qualify if parental rights have been terminated on both biological parents.) · Girls must be in high school (grades 9 through 12). No middle school girls will be served. · Girls must have a verified reservation and be accompanied by a registered female adult chaperone. Only one chaperone (and/or registered transporter) per teen is allowed and chaperones must show their photo ID to enter the event. · Due to limited space, we cannot allow other children, friends, or family members into this event. Only the prom attendee and her chaperone are allowed to attend. Chaperones may accompany multiple teen girls. · No teen girls' biological parents are allowed into this event. · Girls in high school ROTC programs who are in foster care, relative care, or group homes are invited. Only one (1) dress allowed per girl regardless of how many events they plan to attend. · Girls may keep their dresses and accessories or return them after their prom so that others can use them at a later event. What will they do? · Girls will choose from a selection of beautiful prom dresses to take home for a perfect evening at their own high school prom. The girl's chosen dress must be approved by her chaperone. · Special stations will be set up with shoes, shawls, purses, jewelry, hair accessories, and makeup with consultants available to help. · A photographer will be present to take a photo of the teen in her chosen attire. Girls are encourage to come with hairstyles that they will feel comfortable in when being photographed with their chosen attire. Take exit #8 - Mansell Road - and turn left onto Mansell Road, going west towards Roswell. Pass the Walmart Supercenter and at the second traffic light (Wells Fargo bank will be on your right), take a right onto Alpharetta Hwy (GA-9). After three traffic lights, take a right onto Mansell Place (next to Carl Black MC/Buick Dealership). Foster Care Support is the 2nd building on left. From Northeast, Norcross or Gwinnett area: Take I-85 to Jimmy Carter Blvd, going west towards Roswell. Stay on Jimmy Carter which will turn into Holcomb Bridge Rd. Go past GA-400 and after approximately 5 or 6 traffic lights (after McDonalds and just past Chick-Fil-A), take a right onto Alpharetta Hwy (GA-9). Stay straight, passing over Mansell Road (Wells Fargo bank is on the right). After three traffic lights, take a right onto Mansell Place (next to Carl Black MC/Buick Dealership). Foster Care Support is the 2nd building on left. From the Marietta Area: Take Roswell Rd (GA-120) at the Big Chicken, going east towards Roswell. Roswell Rd will change names into Marietta Highway when crossing into Fulton County. At the end of Marietta Hwy, take a left onto Atlanta St (GA-9). Bear right at the fork and Shell Station onto Alpharetta St. Continue straight past Norcross St, Holcomb Bridge Rd and Mansell Road. After three traffic lights, take a right onto Mansell Place (next to Carl Black MC/Buick Dealership). Foster Care Support is the 2nd building on left. From the Northwest Take I-575 or I-75 south to the Chastain Exit. Take a left onto Chastain Rd. Stay on Chastain Rd, which changes to Blackwell Rd, until it dead ends into Shallowford Rd. Take a right onto Shallowford Rd and proceed towards Roswell, passing Trickum Rd, Sandy Plains Rd, Johnson Ferry Rd, and into Fulton county (over a bridge). Proceed 3 more miles to Historic Roswell. Continue straight onto Alpharetta St (GA-9). Continue straight past Norcross St, Holcomb Bridge Rd and Mansell Roads.
