There are a total of 25 apartment complexes zoned for Pebblebrook High School the most for any high school in Cobb County District. Also there are a high number of homes that are rented as well in the area. The average rent for a 2 bedroom apartment ranges from $600-900 a month which most renters are paying more than 50 percent of their income on rent. 80 percent of households with school age children who are classified as economically disadvantaged, and 70 percent of the households rely on at least 1 safety net program to make ends meet month to month. Only 25 percent of renters receive any housing subsidies and with the cost of rent being more than 50 percent of a household income, residents constantly are moving in and out the community.
