#cobbchanThreads of Kindness Threads of Kindness is a program that provides school clothing for students in need. The Department of Family and Children Services ran a similar program called Project Pants which has dissolved. The Cobb County School Social Work Department has continued the program’s concept, but in order to keep the program running we need community partners! Partners are contacted by the program coordinator once a student need is identified. Partners are asked to provide 3 school appropriate outfits for a child…specific sizes and needs will be communicated to the partner by the referring school social worker. These items may be gently used or newly purchased. The idea is for each child to have an outfit to wear, one in the wash, and one in the closet. If you are interested in becoming a partner please fill out a partnership form and return to Lara Fain at [email protected], or fax # 678-594-8061. We appreciate your consideration and look forward to partnering with you! The Cobb County School Social Work Department Questions?
